info - Sora CLI

The info command fetches and displays detailed information about a component directly in your terminal, including external npm dependencies, registry dependencies, file destinations, and CSS variable scopes.

Usage

npx @soralabs/cli info <component> [options]

Alias: sora show

Examples

# View metadata and dependencies for a component
npx @soralabs/cli info text-effect

# Inspect a component from a custom registry
npx @soralabs/cli info button --registry https://ui.shadcn.com

# Output full component schema as JSON
npx @soralabs/cli info text-effect --json

Options

`--registry <name|url>`

Queries a specific registry key or full URL instead of the default ui registry.

npx @soralabs/cli info button --registry https://ui.shadcn.com

`--json`

Prints the full component registry schema as formatted JSON on stdout.

npx @soralabs/cli info text-effect --json
