# list

> List all components available in the registry

The `list` command queries the selected registry and displays every installable component along with its description.

## Usage

```bash theme={null}
npx @soralabs/cli list [options]
```

## Options

### `--registry <name|url>`

Queries a specific registry instead of the default `ui` registry.

```bash theme={null}
npx @soralabs/cli list --registry https://any-shadcn-registry.com
```

### `--json`

Outputs the list of components and metadata in JSON format. This is useful when scripting or piping results into tools like `jq`.

```bash theme={null}
npx @soralabs/cli list --json
```

Example JSON output structure:

```json theme={null}
[
  {
    "name": "text-effect",
    "description": "Animate text with staggering effects",
    "dependencies": ["framer-motion"],
    "type": "registry:ui"
  }
]
```
